4/9/2023 0 Comments Steermouse vs smooth mouse![]() Anyways I made the G600 work with the great software SteerMouse.Īfter your post now I checked my Logitech M590, which runs through the original Options software. Unfortunately it is not supported properly in macOS Monterey, because G HUB is not supported in there, as it is mainly used by gamers. I regularly switch between speed editor, regular mouse and keyboard and often I can do most things all with just the mouse, due to the extra keys. I am working with the Logitech G600 mouse, which is fantastic with all its 20 or so buttons, big help for edting. Good to know that it works for you with MX Master 3. Since it seems to work on macOS without any issues, and on Windows if not in focus, it could mean that DR is not properly addressing hardware acceleration or something like that for the UI. I didn't check if it's still the case on Windows machines with the most recent version of DR but I'd be definitely interested to get this solved on that OS as well since I'm using it as a backup system to work on. In macOS, every scrolling you do (especially in conjunction with the Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse) is fluid and smooth. I currently switched over to macOS M1 and I'm not having this type of issue anymore. Good to hear I'm not the only one experiencing this. If even there would be a regular possibility of zooming as smooth as your video shows, with the app not in focus, that would be even better. At a certain zoom level it makes a huge jump. I would be happy if the choppy and uneven increments of zoom steps performed by alt/option+wheel would be evened out. ![]() Jakob Klaffs wrote:Thanks for this post, I would be very curious if there is any solution/modification to it by now, since I also struggle a lot since starting to use DR a year ago.
